Welcome to Laura Loves Learning!

I am an Early Years Specialist and Consultant, currently teaching in Reception and on the senior leadership team at an outstanding state school in North London. I have always had an interest in child development and early education and I have over ten years’ experience of working in educational settings. Throughout this time, I have become fully aware of parents’ investment in their child’s education but each year it is apparent that parents want to receive guidance on the expectations in education when their child starts school but are unsure of where to find appropriate information. I believe it is really important to help parents from the lead up to the big phase of starting school, the first day nerves and indeed all aspects of nursery and school life. Therefore, I feel passionate about educating parents in how they can give their child the best possible start and do so by hosting workshops for parents and offering 1:1 tailored guidance in order to support with learning at home and other areas of parental need.

Furthermore, I am a Certified Infant Massage Instructor too, registered with the International Association of Infant Massage. I thoroughly enjoy imparting the wonderful benefits of baby massage to parents and carers while hosting my classes.

I have also had the privilege to write articles for a number of Early Years and Parenting publications, websites and magazines. I have a wealth of knowledge about learning and development through the Early Years from all my experiences to date. I can’t wait to share my knowledge and practice with the wider community of parents on Bloss.
