About Marcela:

Marcela is a leading Consultant Dietitian and Nutritionist based in London with a decade of experience working in the NHS, private practice and commercial sector. She is registered with the Health Care Professional Council and the British Dietetic Association. Marcela holds a Master’s degree in Nutrition and a Postgraduate Diploma in Dietetics from King’s College London.

Marcela offers specialist nutrition services in a range of areas including women’s health, fertility, weight management, irritable bowel syndrome and heart health. She is a member of the British Dietetic Association Specialist Maternal and Fertility Group. Marcela has a wealth of experience in nutrition and dietetics and also specialises in prevention of life style-related diseases and healthy ageing.

Alongside her clinical work, Marcela particularly enjoys applying her research and clinical skills in the commercial sector and regularly works with brands and companies in the development of products including nutritional supplements and specialist food products.

Marcela is a media spokesperson for the British Dietetic Association and has featured on BBC One’s ‘Food: Truth or Scare’ and ITV’s prime time show ‘Food Unwrapped’. She can frequently be seen in a variety of publications including Women’s Health Magazine, HELLO! Magazine, ID Magazine, The Financial Times, BBC News, The Independent, etc.
