Trying to ConceiveFertility

Are you thinking about starting IVF? Here are some things you may want to know.

Every year, more than 50,000 cycles of IVF are performed in the UK. IVF may not be the first choice in how to create your family, but it can help. IVF can be all consuming. The appointments, the paperwork (so many consents), the daily injections. Many patients say it's like having a second full time job. The hormones can make you irritable and add to your stress. It's so important to have a support system - however you may choose. There's no right or wrong. There's no one size fits all. Everyone needs support in a different way and sometimes you may need to try a few things to find a good fit, to figure out what works for you.

How can you prepare?

One thing that is really important before going into an IVF cycle is to arm yourself with knowledge. Learning about IVF, knowing what can happen during a cycle and understanding your chances of success can help manage expectations. Going through IVF you may discover that there's a difficult balance of medical staff reassuring you during your treatment and also trying to make you aware of the realistic outcome. It's why I created the IVF e-course. To help educate, inform and prepare you for IVF. There's an entire module on what could go wrong during treatment - and I don't think that's something that gets talked about enough.

What’s included?

It can seem overwhelming but with this course I'm trying to fill in the gaps and be your support system. This affordable course has everything you need to feel confident and prepared going into your treatment. The course will teach you what to look for when selecting an IVF clinic and what to expect from your appointments. We’ll cover ways to save money when going through treatment and go through the various treatment add ons where you’ll learn which one may be suitable for you, and which ones you may not need.

There are 10 main modules and 8 bonus videos, along with 15 PDF resources and a guided meditation to help you on your journey. After a one time purchase, you have lifetime access to the content.

Why do I need an IVF e-course?

The main focus or goal of the IVF clinic and the treatment is to generate a healthy pregnancy that leads to a healthy baby. Unfortunately, that means that sometimes clinics fall short in terms of communication and support. This course includes a comprehensive explanation of what you can expect from a hormone stimulation, egg collection and a detailed description of what happens in the IVF laboratory, where embryos are created and cultured, and how to best prepare for an embryo transfer. You’ll learn about understanding your chances of success, how to stay grounded during IVF and more. The PDF resources are useful alongside the course and provide additional sources of support and communities that can be useful during different stages of treatment.

Here’s what people have said:

“The course was well presented and easily accessible. There are lots of great resources covering a range of subjects. I feel more informed about the IVF process and in a better place to make decisions about the next steps”

“This course is truly brilliant. The IVF process is slightly daunting but I feel prepared and well informed. Thank you!”

“This was such a good way to get prepared before my upcoming cycle. I found the pictures and videos of fertilisation types and embryo development really helpful.”
