Zita West

Zita West is the founder of Zita West Clinic in London’s Marylebone and has helped thousands of couples get pregnant each year both naturally and through IVF. Her speciality is a holistic approach focusing on mind, body and spirit which Zita uses as a practising midwife, acupuncturist and author of 13 books. She has her own range of vitamin supplements to support female and male fertility, as well as pregnancy and regularly appears in the press and on television.

The Zita West Fertility Clinic is the UK’s only clinic offering preconception planning, natural fertility trouble-shooting and IVF treatment all under one roof. They have pioneered a unique approach to fertility, supporting clients not just medically, but physically, nutritionally, emotionally and psychologically as well. “Having a baby is a whole-body event and our uniquely comprehensive holistic approach has helped hundreds of couples and single women to have babies each year, many of whom had thought that this may not be possible
for them,” says Zita. With a team of doctors, nutritionists, counsellors and nurses, six years ago saw the launch of Zita West Assisted Fertility (ZWAF) as a satellite clinic and collaboration with CARE Fertility London. In 2017 clinic was recognised as the Number 1 IVF Clinic in London for its results and celebrated 500 ZWAF babies being born.

“Today’s women face so many challenges when it comes to fertility and planning to have a family,” says Zita. “There are so many options available to them now, and most want a plan of action. Everything we do at the clinic is individually tailored to them, from thinking about having a baby, to egg freezing, to single women going it alone to IVF”

The clinic sees women and men from right across the reproductive health spectrum; from those who are who starting out trying for a baby and just need some reassurance, to couples who have fertility issues and who are looking to get pregnant naturally, through to couples who need IVF of varying degrees. Some couples just access the clinic for complementary therapies, while others undergo full IVF cycles with us, and the clinic has a particular specialism in helping couples who have already had failed IVF cycles at other clinics.
