Adoption Matters UK

Adoption Matters is a children’s charity and one of the largest voluntary adoption agencies in the UK established in 1947. We have placed over 5,000 children for adoption and supported many thousands more.

We recruit, train and prepare families seeking to adopt and offer them ongoing support and development throughout the adoption process and for as long as they need it. We also provide support and guidance service for adopted children, adults and birth families.

We are the ONLY voluntary adoption agency in the North of England who rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted 4 times in a row. We cover the whole of the North of England, parts of Wales, Stoke, Staffordshire and Shropshire.
